Micha was raised in Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu, Israel. He served for three years in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as part of the elite Sayeret Golani unit, participating in the 1982 Lebanon War and the Battle of Beaufort. With over 30 years of experience in business development, Micha has led diverse initiatives across various industries. Micha’s career encompasses managing sales teams in relocation logistics. In addition to founding the Yair Foundation, most recently, he has been involved in renovating and developing studio and gallery spaces in former manufacturing building in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. Micha has three grown children and lives with his wife in New York City.
